Compassionate counseling for personal growth and healing.

You’ve always been the strong one — the high-achieving “good girl” who gets things done no matter what, even when you’re falling apart inside. As a former “keep the peace” good girl, I understand how hard it can be to first have needs and then actually voice them.
If you grew up in a household where there was no space for feelings or emotions, big or small, you might now feel lost about what to do with the emptiness inside. If you find yourself saying yes constantly, without truly considering your own needs, hoping that more achievement will finally fill the void — it’s time for us to have a chat.
For my burnt-out, talked-out parents and caregivers who feel like you’ve tried everything and are still unsure how to help your child — I see you.
With over a decade of experience working closely with teens and families facing complex mental health challenges that impair daily functioning, I understand how taxing it is to feel drained and helpless in supporting your child’s needs and emotions. It’s so hard to watch your child struggle and feel unable to offer effective tools.
That’s where I come in — let’s talk.

My approach is deeply rooted in the power of connection. I believe meaningful change happens in spaces where we feel heard, valued, and even share a little laughter.
You are the expert of your own story — I am simply the guide along the way. Together, we will work to interrupt the harsh inner voice that keeps you stuck and robs the joy from your daily life. We’ll take the time to carefully build tools and skills that truly feel useful, helping you get back on track to experience joy again — or perhaps for the very first time.
I incorporate a variety of evidence-based strategies, tailored to what works best for you.
When working with teens and families, my approach is similar to my work with individuals. I begin by seeking a clear understanding of your family’s needs, then create a path forward to repair and strengthen the family unit as a whole. I offer personalized, evidence-based strategies that support both your child and family, ensuring everyone feels heard, valued, and supported.
I am also certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based trauma treatment modality designed to help people work through painful memories, stress, and overwhelming emotions in a gentle and efficient way. Unlike traditional talk therapy, ART uses simple eye movements (similar to following a hand moving back and forth) to help the brain “reprogram” how distressing memories are stored.
Please email me directly if you cannot find an answer to your question.
In our first session, we’ll explore what’s bringing you to therapy, discuss your goals, and identify the best approach to support your journey. This is a relaxed, non-judgmental space where you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, knowing that you are heard and supported every step of the way.
Therapy is a deeply personal journey, and its duration varies based on individual needs, goals, and the challenges being addressed. Some clients experience relief and noticeable progress within a few sessions, while others may require longer-term support to achieve lasting transformation. During our work together, we will continuously assess your progress and adapt our approach to ensure you receive the right level of care for your healing and personal growth.
A counseling session typically lasts for approximately 60 minutes, although session length may vary depending on your specific needs and preferences.
All ART sessions will be approximately 90 minutes in length.
I do not offer direct billing at this time. However, I am able to provide invoices to submit to insurance companies.
Absolutely! I offer secure virtual therapy sessions, allowing you to access professional support in a way that best suits your lifestyle and needs. Virtual therapy provides a flexible and convenient option for those with busy schedules, mobility limitations, or a preference for the comfort of their own space. Regardless of the format, my commitment to providing a safe, supportive, and effective therapeutic experience remains the same.
Yes, confidentiality is a fundamental aspect of the therapeutic process, ensuring you feel safe and secure in sharing your thoughts and emotions. Everything discussed in our sessions remains strictly private, in accordance with professional ethical guidelines and legal standards. The only exceptions to this are situations where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or where required by law, such as cases involving child protection concerns. If any such situations arise, we will navigate them together with care and transparency.
